Bord Gáis Networks has completed an upgrade to the natural gas network in areas of Waterford City. These works were essential to reinforce the supply of natural gas to the city and facilitate future extension of the network.
Phase 1
Phase 1 was completed in early September 2010.

Construction
The reinforcement works involved trench excavation and the laying of natural gas pipelines. The work was carried out by contractors GMC and CLG on behalf of Bord Gáis Networks.
